Hi, I’m Rebecca Samaniego.

A dedicated and passionate Mexican-American cellist, Rebecca Samaniego has been immersed in music for over 15 years, developing a deep connection with the cello that has shaped both performance and teaching careers. Beginning their journey with formal training at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) in Music Education, they later transferred to New Mexico State University (NMSU) to focus on Music Performance, further refining their craft under expert mentorship.

Since 2019, Rebecca Samaniego has been actively teaching cello, sharing their love of music with students of all ages and skill levels. As the founder of Luna Cello Studio, they have created a nurturing space for aspiring cellists to grow technically and artistically. In addition to solo teaching, they also established The Amore Strings, a classical music ensemble known for elegant and expressive performances across various events and venues.

She is currently a performing member of the Roswell Symphony Orchestra and frequently travels across the Southwest region as a guest cello instructor, contributing to the broader music education community. Their commitment to excellence in both performance and teaching continues to inspire and shape the next generation of musicians.
